💗Teachers as transformative intellectuals💗

Reflection about the topic: I really liked the article we read to share our opinions in class, I think it's very important to understand the importance of the teacher's role in our society, we are not just communicators of vain knowledge, we have the function to build in our students their critical thinking and teach them how important is to be people who defend their ideas and beliefs with character and arguments.

Personal Reflection what you can do as a teacher: First of all, I will give my students the possibility to dream, to have their own ideas, and to defend them. For me, it's really important to create a close relationship with them, I want to have their confidence to build with them an environment in which we can discuss with respect, explaining our ideas with arguments, and understanding the importance of our role as citizens. My work would be more than transmitting knowledge, it would create awareness about our world and its problems that affect everyone.
