💜 La Catedra de la Paz💜

Reflection about the topic: That day the importance of the presentation was his great impact on Colombian education and society because the topic was completely related to the reality of our country and the history of war and violence that all of us known. The explanation of the law and the important information it gave us to plan classes and take into account at the time of teaching were my favorite part of the presentation, moreover, the information they explained was unknown to many of us, so the presentation was accurate to fill empty spaces of knowledge that wasn't filled in our classes of Catedra de Paz in high school. My classmates did an incredible job doing the presentation, furthermore, they did a dynamic presentation in which we could make a good reflection and we acquired the necessary information to use and communicate to other people and students. The understanding of laws, ordinances, and articles that rules our education system and are focused on the peace process of our country has huge importance in the development of our society.

Personal Reflection what you can do as a teacher: My role as a teacher is vital to give accurate information to all my students related to the history of the peace process in Colombia, I think is really important to know as much as possible about our history to avoid the repetition of the same actions. Furthermore, I want to teach values to my students, make them grow as people with character and a feeling of respect to others, people who know that they have to solve their problems based on dialogue, finally, I want to give them the tools to understand others, to be empathetic and to have a feeling of justice.
