💜 Critical Race Theory💜

Reflection about the topic: I enjoyed so much learning about this topic due to the impact and influence that has on our reality, as we already know, the problem of discrimination by race affects all of us, as a society it's necessary to eliminate these behaviors that are harmful and increase individuality and more invisibilization to social groups that who have been historically relegated and marginalized due to their race. I really liked the way my classmates explained the topic because their information raised on us interest to start a discussion around the topic in the class, and the idea of questioning our beliefs or behaviors that are racist and can offend others.

Personal reflection what you can do as a teacher: To create a healthy environment in which students can recognize each other, grow as respectful people and understand differences and diversity it's necessary to take into account topics related to racism and its theory. Black people have suffered violence, discrimination, and marginalization for many years, and it's a part of our world history how they can fight against these forms of discrimination, their revolution was and is still valid in our society, and from education and classrooms, we have the opportunity to construct knowledge that provides students tools to live in community and accept diversity and people no matter their nationality, sex or race. Teachers' role is the key to improve our society and make better people coexist.
